Market consultation procurement in-car information services launched

From May 13, Rijkswaterstaat will start a market consultation in preparation for strategic decision-making for the procurement of information services for deployment by all road authorities in the Netherlands. This is because the shift in information provision from roadside to in-car systems, initiated by the growing use of navigation systems and services, is an important motivation for these services.

VM-IVRA data services used during road replacement and renovation in Zuid-Holland

In Zuid-Holland, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, Rijkswaterstaat, the Province of Zuid-Holland, the Rotterdam The Hague Metropolitan Area, the Municipality of Rotterdam, the Municipality of The Hague, ProRail and the Port of Rotterdam Authority are working together in Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar on the accessibility of the region. Inspiration session on making diversions safer for traffic

In the event of roadworks, alternative routes are often advised for all traffic that would normally pass through the work area. But what happens when road safety is also taken into account?
